Kansas Kneads Bread Grant
We are thrilled to announce that 15 amazing grantees are teaching kids the art of baking right in the kitchen! From wholesome rolls and hearty breads to delightful doughs, these young chefs are creating a delicious array of local baked goods every week.
Join us in celebrating their successes and see what they've whipped up so far. Check out the incredible journey and discover the joy these students experience while learning valuable life skills through baking.
GROW Program
We are thrilled to introduce the GROW Program—a fantastic initiative to ensure the sustainability of our Lettuce Grow hydroponic towers, originally funded by our Farm to School USDA Grant. Providers can check out a tower through out Lending Library when available.
This grant partners perfectly with our Harvest of the Month Curriculum, bringing hands-on, sustainable farming to schools and communities. Join us in celebrating the progress of this vital project and see how we are nurturing minds and the environment. Check out the amazing growth happening now!
Harvest of the Month Curriculum- Kansas
Our state provides a unique opportunity to source all meal components locally—from milk and grains to fruits, veggies, and meats. Pair this with the monthly Harvest of the Month curriculum from KSDE, offering a rich learning experience.

Local Food Card
The Mission behind this card is simple "Cultivating connections so Kansas Kids can learn, grow, and develop a taste for healthy choices that will last a lifetime."
This project has allowed us to partner with 4 exclusive vendors to offer discounted products to our participants on our program! This poject is created in partnership with Heartland Institute, Quality Care Services, and Child Care Links.
Shelf Stable Baking Mix
Introducing our soon-to-launch shelf-stable baking mix project and training; created with love and care for you! Our team at Quality Care Services, Inc. has joined forces with CCL and Apron Strings to bring you an easy and local solution for your favorite quick breads, pancakes, waffles,muffigs and more! Perfect for those who love convenience without compromising on flavor. Stay tuned for updates and get ready to transform your kitchen adventures while incorporating local foods!
